The Emerald 360 S ensures not only lasting comfort for your little one, but lasting safety too. It’s designed in accordance with the latest and highest car seat safety standard, known as i-Size. As well as that, there’s G-CELL Side Impact Protection technology built into the seat, meaning the impact resulting from any road collision will be absorbed and spread away from your child’s body.
Ease of use
Getting your child into their car seat is a whole lot simpler with the Emerald 360 S. Using FlexiSpin, the seat rotates 360° so you don’t have to bend awkwardly to ensure they’re correctly positioned in their seat. It makes it easy to get them safely and securely in place ahead of every journey, so those daily car seat struggles become a thing of the past.
Age range
Car journeys with your baby start from day one with the Emerald 360 S. Its integrated Newborn inlay offers comfort and support to your little one and ensures safety on every car trip, while providing a proper fit and room to grow. Once they outgrow it, simply remove the Newborn inlay and carry on using the seat all the way up to 12 years old. The soft cushioned headrest provides additional support and comfort as the years pass and your child grows. It’s the only car seat they’ll ever need.

What is a Group 0123 car seat?
Group 0123 car seats are designed to suit children from birth up to 12 years.
How long can I use a Group 0123 car seat?
Group 0123 car seats are designed to suit children from birth up to 12 years old and can be used for 12 years after purchase. To ensure the safety of your child(ren) during the car seat’s lifespan, make sure that the product is not damaged.
Is the Emerald 360 S an i-Size car seat?
Yes, it complies with the latest and safest EU regulation R129/03 regulation.
Can I install the Emerald 360 S without the ISOFIX connectors?
The product must be installed using the ISOFIX connectors and support leg from birth (when used with the integrated harness) up to 4 years old. For group 2/3 use (from 4 years up to 12 years), the integrated car seat belt needs to be used. Even then, we recommend continuing to use the ISOFIX connectors for increased stability.
Should I remove the harness for group 2/3 use?
The harness can easily be store in the back of the car seat when you want to switch from harness mode to booster mode.
When should I store the harness?
The harness can be used up to a maximum weight of 18 kg (approx. 4 years) and must be stored away afterwards. The car seatbelt should be used from the age of 4 years onwards or when child is heavier than 18 kg.

Is the Newborn inlay included with Emerald 360 S?
Yes, the Newborn inlay is included. With the Newborn inlay, you can use this product from birth, without needing to buy an extra infant car seat. It is specifically developed to protect your baby from birth (40 cm) until 75 cm.
How can I use the modular Newborn inlay?
The Newborn inlay can be individually adjusted for a custom fit at any stage. We recommend using the full Newborn inlay from 40 – 60cm. From 60 – 75 cm and when your baby has outgrown the inlay, we recommend removing the side wings and/or the headrest.
What are the 4 different age stages that apply to this car seat?
1. From 0 – 1 year (40 – 75 cm), with the Newborn inlay in the rearward-facing position.
2. From 1 – 4 years (up to 105 cm/18 kg), without Newborn inlay in the rearward-facing position.
3. From 15 months – 4 years (76 – 105 cm/18 kg) in the forward-facing position.
4. From 4 – 12 years (100 – 150cm) using the car belt and the 5-point harness, with the support leg stored away.
When do I need to switch to the forward-facing position?
You can switch to the forward-facing position from 15 months/76 cm. At Maxi-Cosi, we recommend travelling with your child in the rearward-facing position for as long as possible (up to 4 years/105 cm/18 kg), as research shows this is the safest way of travelling with children. If your child is more than 18 kg, you need to use the forward-facing position with the car seat belt and store away the harness and support leg.
When using the car seat in booster mode with the car seat belt, what should I do with the support leg?
When your child is over 100 cm or heavier than 18 kg, you can store away the harness and use the car seat belt in booster mode up to 150 cm. It is mandatory to store the support leg away when using the car seat belt. Fold the support leg under the seat by pressing the small pin under the seat to push the leg inwards and click it into the cavity.
How tight should I fasten the safety harness system?
To fasten the harness correctly, it is key to restrain the child well in the Emerald 360 S car seat. You need to pull the harness adjuster strap until the harness is close to the child's body. If the harness is tight enough, you should be able to pass only 1 finger between your child's body and the harness strap.
Can I rotate the Emerald 360 S on the base in any position?
Yes, you can easily and safely rotate the seat in any position, fully upright or fully reclined.
How do I operate the rotation function?
When the seat is in driving position, you can unlock the rotation with the grey handle at the front. When the seat is in lateral position, you can simply rotate the seat with one hand without touching the handle.
What is G-CELL Side Impact Protection?
G-CELL is our side impact protection system. An integrated safety system that is always activated and spreads the force of the impact over the entire structure of the car seat in the event of a side impact. Users do not have to perform any additional action to install or activate the functionality, preventing it from being used incorrectly and preventing it from interfering with the interior of the car or other passengers.
